Nominations are assessed across five dimensions:

The jury is composed of senior policymakers, Fortune 500 executives, leading academics, and civil society champions selected for expertise, credibility, and geographic diversity across Europe.

Europe Edition jury includes Al, governance, academia, and civil society experts from across Europe – including the Netherlands, Germany, France, the UK, and the Nordics. Members will be recognised at the Amsterdam ceremony.

The universal AI awards are envisioned as globally credible recognition platform celebrating
excellence, innovation and responsible leadership in artificial intelligence. The awards aim to
recognize organizations and leaders who are not only advancing AI innovation but are also setting
benchmarks in ethical AI deployment, governance, and real-world impact.

Participation is open to individuals and organisations across the AI ecosystem globally that are driving
meaningful innovation, demonstrating responsible leadership, and creating real-world impact
through artificial intelligence. In line with the vision of the Universal AI Awards as a globally credible
recognition platform, applicants should exemplify excellence in AI advancement while upholding
strong standards in ethical deployment and governance. Employees and immediate family members
of the Awards Management team, sponsors, or partners are not eligible to participate.

To be eligible:

  • The participating entity should be a legally registered organization in the United States, with
    at least two years of operational presence in the U.S. as of March 31, 2026.
  • For the category AI Transformation of the Year, the participating organization must have an
    annual revenue of:

    • Up to US$500 million for Mid-Market enterprises, as of March 31, 2026
    • Above US$500 million for Large Enterprises, as of March 31, 2026

For the Leadership segment, the participant must be a CXO-level professional currently leading AI
strategy, governance, and enterprise-wide adoption initiatives within their organization.

This category celebrates leaders who build data-driven cultures, advance analytics and AI capabilities, and ensure effective governance, quality, and utilization of data across the organization, with the participant required to be at a CXO level within their organization.
Leadership AI Entrepreneur of the year Recognizes an outstanding entrepreneur who has demonstrated visionary leadership in building and scaling an AI-driven venture that delivers meaningful innovation, business impact, and societal value. This category celebrates individuals who have successfully translated AI capabilities into market-ready products or solutions, driven strong growth and adoption, and fostered a culture of responsible and ethical AI development. The participant should be the Founder of the venture.
Leadership Academicians / Research Professionals Recognizes academicians and research professionals who are advancing AI through meaningful research, innovation, and collaboration, while promoting ethical, transparent, and responsible use of AI and contributing to real-world impact in society and industry.
     
Social Impact AI for Social Good Recognizes responsible use of AI to address critical social, environmental, and humanitarian challenges. This category celebrates initiatives that leverage AI to create meaningful, inclusive impact in areas such as healthcare access, education, sustainability, public services, and community development, demonstrating measurable outcomes and ethical, purpose-driven innovation.
Social Impact AI in Sustainability / Climate Impact Recognizes responsible use of AI to address sustainability and climate challenges through innovative, data-driven solutions. This category celebrates applications that enable environmental monitoring, resource optimization, emissions reduction, and climate risk management, delivering measurable impact while promoting long-term ecological resilience and responsible innovation.

Participant can submit one entry per category; however they will get shortlisted based on the jury scores only.

  • Entries will be screened for eligibility.
  • Qualified entries will be reviewed by a jury of experts based on predefined evaluation
    parameters.
  • Shortlisted finalists and winners will be determined based on jury scores
  • The jury and awards management’s decision will be final and binding.

The opening dates are 17th August 2026 and closing dates for submission are 31st October 2026. Please keep checking the official website for any updates or changes.

Entries that do not meet the eligibility criteria may be disqualified at the discretion of the Jury and Awards Management.

There will be only one winner in each category. The winner will receive a trophy, and the selection of the winners will be subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Yes. Participants can withdraw their entry by informing the Awards Management in writing at least one week before the final awards ceremony.

Awards Management is not responsible for late, incomplete, corrupted, or unreadable entries due to technical issues. Participants are advised to ensure smooth submission by checking connectivity and file formats in advance.

Yes. Personal data collected during participation will be used only for conducting and administering the Awards, in line with the privacy policy of the platform.

No. Participation in the Universal AI Awards is free of charge.

The Awards Management reserves the right to cancel, merge, or modify categories if entries do not meet the required quality standards.

Yes. The Terms & Conditions may be modified at any time by the Awards Management. Participants are advised to regularly check the website for updates.

Yes. If any information submitted is found to be false, misleading, or incomplete, the participant may be disqualified at any stage of the Awards.

Content that is obscene, defamatory, infringes intellectual property, promotes violence, hurts religious sentiments, or violates laws will lead to disqualification.
